Studio KP is always looking for new talented and motivated Commission-Based Stylists to join our Krewe. As a Commission-Based Stylist, you will have the opportunity to showcase your creativity and expertise in providing exceptional services to our clients. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about the beauty industry and thrive in a commission-based, fast-paced salon environment.
Responsibilities:
Perform a variety of hair styling services, including cutting, coloring, and styling, to meet the unique needs and preferences of clients.
Stay current on industry trends, styles, and techniques to provide clients with the latest and best hair care services.
Consult with clients to understand their hair care goals and recommend appropriate services and products.
Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service to ensure a positive and satisfying salon experience for clients.
Build and maintain a strong client base through exceptional service and effective client relationship management.
Keep workstations clean and organized, adhering to salon cleanliness and hygiene standards.
Collaborate with salon team members to create a positive and cohesive work environment.
Actively promote salon services, products, and promotions to contribute to overall salon success.
Track and manage personal sales and commissions accurately.
Attend training sessions and workshops to enhance skills and stay informed about industry developments.
Qualifications:
Current cosmetology license.
Proven experience as a hairstylist with a strong portfolio of work.
Demonstrated expertise in various techniques.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Strong client relationship-building skills.
Motivated and goal-oriented, with a focus on achieving sales targets.
Knowledge of salon products and the ability to recommend appropriate products to clients.
Compensation:
This position is commission-based with additional opportunities for tips. The commission structure will be discussed during the interview process.
